Our website design process is designed to be as simple as possible for the client. There are four main steps to the process.
1. Choose Website Options
A consultation will be required in order to determine the features you would like to have on your website. We will also need to determine which hosting company will be hosting your website, and if you have already registered your domain name. There are also other questions we will need to ask you in order make sure we create a package with the right options to fit your needs. Once you decide on a solutions package, you will be asked to fill out, sign and return a solutions agreement, as well as make a 50% deposit.
2. Information Gathering
Once you have chosen your web solutions package, we ask that you fill out our basic website design questionnaire. If necessary, we will gather more in-depth information about your business by either e-mail, phone or in-person. Any company literature and materials that you may have are always appreciated. We will also ask that you provide us with any pictures or images you would like included on your website. If your photos are not already in digital format, we can scan them into a digital format for you. We will need for you to provide us with all content for your website, except any content we have contract to create for you. You may wait to provide content until after you see the basic design, if that would help you get a better feel for the layout and your content needs.
3. Basic Design Approval
Once you have decided on your package, we will begin working right away. After learning about your organization through information gathering, we will create a working model or template of your new website. This will allow you to see the look and functionality of your website and approve and make suggestions prior to customization.
4. Complete Site Approval
Once we have combined all your information and our design, we will upload the finished product to your hosting location, so you may view and test your new website in a real, live environment. As soon as we receive approval from you, your new website will go live!
On average, the entire website design process from package selection to your new site going live will take anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks depending on the design package and/or any customizations.
